A sad day for theatre.

Yesterday I went to the retirement party for Peter Willardson who was my lighting advisor at the U. His training is the reason I got into UCONN, and any success I have in the future will be traced back to the interest he took in my career. It is a sad day that no future lighting designers will have Pete to train them. I am happy for him, he has been ready to retire for a long time. There is a hole in the entertainment industry that will never be filled.

So sad. I'm glad you had such a wonderful mentor to help you along with your training and education.

crazy uncle pete! He is an amazing man and life changing professor... those who will not have him as part of their training are missing out!

I'm trying to track Peter down. Do you have a contact for him?? He was my mentor as well - got me into The Juilliard School. Peter where are you??
